Terms and conditions

Article 1: Identity
Maretti Services, located at Piet Heinstraat 116, 860, 2501 CW The Hague, registered under Chamber of Commerce number: 84334738, represented by Tiko R Matthijssen.

 

Article 2: Applicability & Terms
These general terms and conditions apply to all quotes, invoices, and agreements of Maretti Services. By entering into an agreement, the customer accepts the general terms and conditions of Maretti Services.

 

Article 3: Prices and Quotes
The listed prices are based on the average passenger car. For larger vehicles, a surcharge applies, depending on the type of vehicle and the scope of work.

All prices are based on average pollution and the condition of the vehicle. Extra costs may be charged for deviations.

Quotes are non-binding and valid for a maximum of 3 months from the date of issuance.

For treatments with an estimated price starting from €450, we require a deposit of 25% of the total price. This deposit is non-refundable in case of cancellation.

Article 4: Agreement, Deposit, and Cancellation
An agreement is established after confirmation via email, letter, or phone/SMS.

For multi-day treatments or longer waiting times, we charge a deposit of at least 25% of the total amount. Deposits are non-refundable. The deposit will be deducted from the final invoice.

Cancellations must be compensated as follows:

- Cancellation at least 48 hours before the appointment: no charges (except for appointments with a required deposit).
- Cancellation within 48 hours before the appointment: 50% of the agreed total price.

Article 5: Travel Costs
For performing detailing services on location, we apply travel costs of €0.96 ex VAT (€1.16 incl. VAT) per kilometer.

Article 6: Arrival Time and Delays
We strive to arrive at the agreed time. Please note that delays may occur due to overruns from previous appointments or traffic conditions.

In case of an expected delay of more than 30 minutes, we will inform the customer as soon as possible.

We ask for your understanding regarding any delays and assure you that we will do our best to minimize them.

 

Article 7: Payments
Invoices are payable in cash or by transfer, with payment due within the agreed payment term (14 calendar days).

In case of late payment, an interest of 1% per month is owed by operation of law and without notice of default.

In case of non-payment, the invoice amount will be increased by a flat-rate compensation of 10%, with a minimum of €75.

All complaints regarding the invoice must reach us by registered mail within eight days.

For all disputes, only the courts of The Hague are competent.

Article 8: Complaints
Complaints about our services must be reported in writing within 48 hours after execution. We strive to resolve any complaints satisfactorily.

Article 9: Warranty
Upon installation of a ceramic coating, the customer can expect the prescribed lifespan of the product. Results and lifespan depend on the use and maintenance of the vehicle.

Proper maintenance with recommended products ensures long-lasting results. Poor maintenance leaves its marks.

Liability is only applicable if the entire treatment (including required preparatory work) is performed by Maretti Services.

After installation of a ceramic coating, the vehicle must not come into contact with external elements for at least 24 hours. During the first 7 days, friction, water contact, and chemicals should be avoided as much as possible.

Article 10: Intellectual Property and Ownership Rights
The entire content of Maretti Services' website (photos, texts, trade names, logos, and other graphic elements) is protected by copyright and/or other intellectual property rights. The content may only be used by Maretti Services.

In case of violation of these rules, Maretti Services will demand immediate removal of the information and may impose a penalty for unlawful use. This penalty may include compensation for damages, including legal and attorney fees.

Article 11: Force Majeure
In case of force majeure, we are not obligated to fulfill our obligations. We may suspend our obligations or definitively terminate the agreement.

Force majeure includes, among other things, strikes, fires, pandemics, business disruptions, energy failures, and failures in networks or communication systems.

Disclaimer

Prices apply to the average passenger car. Larger cars may incur an additional charge. All prices are based on average dirt levels and the vehicle's condition. Each car is unique and requires its own specific treatment; any necessary extended treatment time may result in additional costs. We charge €0.96 excl. VAT (€1.16 incl. VAT) per kilometer for travel costs. Within The Hague, a fixed travel fee of €10 excl. VAT (€12.20 incl. VAT) applies. Appointments can be canceled/rescheduled up to 48 hours before the scheduled time. Appointments canceled within 48 hours of the appointment will incur a 25% charge, and appointments canceled within 24 hours will incur a 50% charge, and the customer is responsible for payment. Please note that due to overrun from previous appointments or traffic conditions, we may arrive up to 30 minutes later. We always strive to be on time, but unforeseen circumstances can affect our arrival time. We appreciate your understanding and assure you that we will do our best to minimize any delays.
